'Lap dog'? I don't think so.

Based on my (possibly less complete than Mr. Speedie's) reading of your work, I'd say he's utterly wrong. Although I don't know his writings, I'd say that opposition to Israel's enemies, including the Palestinians, and reasoned support for Israel, do not make one a 'lap dog' of Israel itself. If that were true, then one could never oppose those who are wrong without having to waste time and effort answering the specious accusation that one is a 'lap dog' of those who are right.
