Bad government decisions :: Reader comments at Daniel Pipes

All governments make bad decisions. Pipes has accurately criticized those bad decisions of both the US and Israeli governments. The perspective that Israel must survive is, of course, paramount for Israelis and should be fore all Americans.

Pipes' criticisms: Most were fostered by positions either encouraged or condoned by various U.S. administrations....making them doubly wrong.

Two key issues:

1) Strategic depth

2) Don't make war for strictly political ends. War is to win!
