Don't forget the Ertegun brothers, sons of a Turkish ambassador to the US who founded Atlantic Records. BTW, I no longer recall how I happened to acquire it, but over 40 years ago, I found a slightly used copy of Yusuf Lateef's album The Centaur and the Phoenix. I was never a great fan of progressive jazz, but that album really spoke to me.
