Eventually it hardens into Normative Islam over a few generations - by the 22 century they will be spawning Salafi Radicals - Mark my words. Read about the conversion of Turks to Islam in the early Medieval- initially they retained many pagan customs, but now you see hardcore fanatics. But I know of no incidence like this NoI one, where a wholly unconnected version of "Islam" started a population on the way to Islam. I believe it is unique to the United States.
