Islam will not vanish

Reader comment on item: Islam and Bebop Jazz

Some comments indicate that because of the dishonor the activities of Muslim extremists have brought to Islam the religion itself would vanish; succumb to superior culture of other religions. This hypothesis is not supported by empirical data. Christianity, Judaism and in fact all other religions have passed through this ugly face of extremism. None vanished and so will not Islam.

As to which culture is superior is based upon 'the me first rule'. Islam has a value system, given by the Quran. Many people who have made in depth study of the Quran would acclaim and appreciate these values. Adherent to the principles in the Quran will make a person be a true servant of humanity. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, whose members believe in the second coming of Messiah having already happened, are making every sacrifice to show the true face of Islam. So to make a judicious and reasoned opinion about Islam please look at their web-site (al-Islam.org), their mosques, and their efforts all over the world. Many of the critics will find that all the Islam which is being projected through surveys is just farce, like Christianity represented by the Spanish Inquisitors was.
