It is very interesting your observation that you are against Al-Qaeda. I believe Dear Dr. Pipes just 6 months were in favor of supporting Al-Qaida against Iran. I remember Dr. Pipes even suggested that Israel should be allies with the Al-Qaeda rebels in Syria.

So do you oppose Dr. Pipes on this one ?

From your opinion

1. I find you believe that Sunni Islam is predominantly Arab. However may of the Shias are also Arab as we can see in Iraq , Lebanon , Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

2. I would also love to know what do you think the main interests of the US should be in the region ? I am not sure whether you are Israeli or Westerner though.

3. How do you think these best interests of the US would be achieved in the region ?

4. I would also love to know your views on this issue. While talking about Islamic or Iranian history , one thing makes me most curious about this history.

At 12-th century , Mongols conquer Arabia and Persia and the Abbasaid Caliphate would be dead.

Most of the major cities of Islamic Umma , Merv , Khorrasan , Ispahan , Baghdad would be gone for ever.

It should have been the end of Islamic culture.

Instead we could see Mongols embracing Islam and a new period of Islam coming into fruition.

This is what fascinates me most about Islam in general and Persia.

I mean the Persians who were converted to Islam by Arab conquest had every chance to go back to their Pagan religion yet not only they stayed with their new religion but helped bring in the Mongols into the fold of Islam.

I wonder why that is the case here ?
