Not so sure about this one Professor....

Dr. Pipes,

I am a great fan of yours and while I usually concur with your opinions, I have to say, "not so fast," to this article. Al Sisi has done a great deal of good for not only Egypt, but for Israel and Western Civilization as well.True, his methods are heavy handed and appear to be somewhat draconic. However, he is dealing with intrinsically violent radical Islamists who participate in active acts of terror against other Egyptians (of all faiths). His platform to extinguish The Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas is nothing short of enviable. I may be narrow minded and prejudiced towards Gen. Al Sisi; but I would bet that if he ran for office in Israel, he would win by a landslide!!! Islamist extremists must be dealt with in terms they understand, bullets, bombs, swords, and a chance at martyrdom.

I pray that Gen. Al Sisi is successful in his campaign to become president of Egypt and that he continues to rid the world of vermin aka The Muslim Bortherhood (which, is undeniably the father of many terrorist organizations)!
