compare to evolution of christianity

In principle Islam may split as Christianity did. Catholicisim always was, and keeps being, such a violent and power-hungry movement as Islam. After such a split, a core of Islam would continue its conventions as Catholicism does, might be tamed similarly.

But I know that neither the old Books, nor the new Evangelions contain such command to, or opinion enabling to, lie and to kill as Koran does. Therefore I doubt.
