Belonging in mighty nation of Turkey is a source of pride for every single Turk! We can very easily and comfortably look back in the Turkish history and cherish it.

Cyprus was a Turkish territory since 1570 and we need not occupy our own land.

It was only "rented" to the Britain in a time we needed money in 1878 (Just like Britain rented Hong Kong from China) and Britain simply did not return "this rented land" due to political tension between us and them then.

A funny side note for you: And who told you that Cyprus is "Greek"??? Cyprus has never ever been a Greek state ever in history. It was ruled by Persians, Arabs, Romans, French, Venetians, Turks, British but guess never by whom, the Greeks of course :-)

"Invading !" the north of the island was only a practical choice since it was easier to deploy troops there due to proximity.

Also get your president some tranquillizer from the nearest pharmacy. He cant make descent talks.

Last but not least keep in mind that 1/3 of every natural resource found around cyprus belongs to Turkish Cypriots and if you deny them this right, we will not wait for your gratiousness and "intervene again" to make sure that Turks there get their share of gas money.
