defining moderate IslamReader comment on item: Washington Finally Gets It on Radical Islam Submitted by Les Davis (United States), Apr 25, 2005 at 10:38 I don't care how much the U.S. government spends to "win the hearts and minds" of moderate Islam. It won't work! Why?For one, we are not addressing the real issue. It goes on in basically every Islamic school in every muslim country"and here to I might add" INDOCTRINATION! This is the very core of what we are up against, if we cannot convince the Saudis to stop the Jew bashing, the Christian bashing and the U.S. bashing then we don't stand a chance. We must demand that ALL muslim countries allow religous and human freedom for all, this includes letting women drive and letting women attend universities,to study whatever they are so inclined. To do this we must place sanctions on Saudi Arabia, no more mosques in the U.S. and the ones already established will be closed until real reform is forth-coming. This ultimatum will, I believe set the Saudis back; they would never dream that our government would implement such strong measures. Will there be an outcry? You bet there will. But this will in turn, turn the hot-spotlight back on the Saudis where it should be. By bringing national and worldwide attention to the suppression in Saudi life and how we accomodate their mosques on our soil, yet not one Christian church is allowed to exist on their soil we can show the world who is really the "SATAN" OF THE WORLD." Until we can have balance between our two countries this is the only thing they understand strength!
