Not just radical IslamReader comment on item: Washington Finally Gets It on Radical Islam Submitted by Kamel Zaki (United States), Apr 25, 2005 at 14:18 The US policy is mistaken. You can't be a moderate and believe that the world is divided into muslims and enemies of islam. You can't be a moderate and believe you have a right to take a non muslim man's wife as a sex slave in the name of Allah. .. You can't be a moderate and believe you have a divine right to offer people three choices: Islam, paying tribute or death. You can't be a moderate and believe you should kill those who leave Islam. You can't be a moderate and believe the husband has a right to beat his wfe if he fears she might disobey him. You can't be a moderate and believe that you should never have a Jew or a Christian as a friend, boss or a ruler. These are some teachings of Islam from the Quran without any interpretation on my part.A moderate has to be someone who belives the Quran was suitable only for a time, place and a culture long gone. No muslim will concede that. A moderate muslim is an oximoron. However, there are millions of people who are muslim by name only and are human being first and foremost. The answer to Islam is two fold: first, expose the teachings of Islam so that, people who are misguided can judge it. Second, advance human rights with muslim countries so that people can freely leave Islam if they chose to.
