Brits are the Worst

It seems in my anecdotal experience that Britons far and away demonstrate the most naive attitude when discussing Islamism. I once witnessed a personal conversation between Judea Pearl (the father of Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter beheaded by jihadists in Pakistan in 2002) and two of the most senior journalists in the world, both of whom were British. Everything was fine and everyone agreed on the need to fight terrorism until Daniel Pearl's father suggested that Muslim imams need to condemn acts like that which befell his son. The two reporters honestly reacted as if they had not even considered the point, one of them stating (not) eloquently that such advice "opens up a whole other bag of cats."
