Water as Source for Life - The Eternal Sovereign is the SOURCE for Rivers of Living WaterReader comment on item: The Middle East Runs out of Water Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), May 11, 2015 at 13:27 Here is irony; Israel knows full well the issues of drought and of plenty. But the world remains as enemies with Israel. Here is truth; Israel must learn from the Eternal Sovereign her dependency upon Him, and so too must the world. That time is in the future. But, in the meantime, the world is in rebellion, following as Yeshua put it, the lies of the world's instigator, the father of lies. In First Kings 17, 18, a rebellious Ahab was shown the source of rain; and the instigation of the lack of it - rebellion to the WORD of the LORD. The countries now clamoring for water turn their own supplies to mud and dust; and remain rebellious still. What, truly, would they give for the waters of life? Read of Yeshua and living waters with the woman at the well in Samaria, Gospel of John, chapter 4. In America, we read that Benjamin Franklin quipped: [w]hen the well runneth dry, we learn the value of water]. Scripturally speaking, water nourishes both the body, and spiritualy, livng waters the soul. As long as that is not connected to the truth by rebellious thinking, then the thirst remains unquenchable.
