While your initial sarcasm might cause some readers to move on, your point is certainly well taken by those that persevere. Your suggestion of sympathy marches were prescient if we include the ill-considered remarks of Loretta Lynch, who, rather than entreaty Muslim leaders to take "If your see something, say something" as a core program in their mosques and workplaces, has threatened non-Muslims with jail time for any remarks she might construe as promoting violence.
