No go zones

Police "no go" zones. Does it matter that some "no go" zones exist because of a religion-ideology and others are due to drug/poverty problems? What happens when we get a Muslim majority or even a very large group of Muslims? As most people note, the majority of Muslims just want to have a job and raise a family. They are good folks. However, "Islam" creates problems and is in violent conflict on almost every border with others.
What can a Muslim do to help? If they "speak out", what do they say? They usually say that "That atrocity is not representative of true Islam." Nothing bad is truly Islamic. What sort of answer is that? It shows that we do not have an adequate vocabulary to address the problems that Islam poses. Islam is an ideology with a revealed text. Sort of like communism. We could discuss, debate, confront and dissect communism. We need to debate Islam, but to do so is "Islamophobic" heresy or blasphemy. What a mess.
