The extreme danger of "moderate" MuslimsReader comment on item: Two Weaknesses Could Undo the Islamist Movement Submitted by Bill (United States), Jan 4, 2016 at 20:44 While I understand the dangers associated with "Islamicists," I have much more fear of "moderate" Muslims. "Moderate" Muslims ARE Islamicists. Moderate Muslims understandably hold their eternal souls in higher regard than the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the First Amendment or the equality of Jews, Christians, atheists and anyone else that does not submit to Islam. "Moderate" Muslims will sometimes morph into "Islamicists." "Moderate" Muslims mostly agree with the end result of establishing Islam everywhere, but may disagree with the method used to implement and subjugate everyone. This is why I support Donald Trump. I despise Islam and see myself in a spiritual and political war against it's authoritarianism, intransigence, polygamy, misogamy, pedophilia, cleptocracy, intolerance, supremacism, and expansionism. I perceive it as more Nazi than Nazism. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. Daniel Pipes replies: I think you confused truly moderate Muslims with the so-called moderate Islamists, the ones who don't use violence. Reader comments (32) on this item
