Brexit, NATO and the building empire.

Reader comment on item: Who Will Write France's Future?
in response to reader comment: Praying for the Brexit

It's common, nowadays, for commentators to look back at "the breakup of the Soviet Union" as a defining moment in history. It certainly was; but those same commentators were oblivious to it when it happened -- much like the passengers on the Titanic going back to sleep after the mild disturbance of the ship striking an iceberg. The same thing is happening now, with the dissolution of the European Union; and even Daniel Pipes is yet to comment on it.

For the Biblical prophecy of Brexit and other exits, read:

Daniel 2:
[42] And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
[43] And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Daniel 2, Daniel 7 and Revelation 17 all talk about a political entity called "the beast", which has existed throughout Jewish history. In old times it was represented by the "heads" of Rev., the various body parts of Daniel 2 and the creatures of Daniel 7. All these culminate in a tenfold group of nations, which in turn give their power and authority to a world dictator:

Daniel 7:
[19] Then I would know the truth of ...the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.

[21] I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them; [22] Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Notice that this world dictator, this "little horn", will ultimately make war against Israel -- in a fashion as described in Zechariah 14. I believe that "little horn" represents the USA, a country (since we were derived from the other "horns", the great powers of Europe); and that he will probably be personified in an American President. The time frame is that he is not any of the candidates currently running for office, since the Turkish attack on Israel (Ezekiel 38-39) must come first, and then there is a seven-year period after that before the "beast" attack. The events leading up to the "beast" consortium, nevertheless, are happening now:

1. The great powers are trying to unify, like the iron mixed with clay;
2. they do not really mix with one another, as evidenced by Brexit; and
3. they will ultimately submit to a common authority ("the beast")

President Obama has certainly been a stand-in for the beast, with his promotion of the TPP and TTIP, and his meddling in the UK to protect the integrity of the EU. He is also openly grooming Hillary Clinton to be his successor and torchbearer; but he might be disappointed in this, come November. Whoever becomes president in 2021 or 2025, you can bet that they, too, will be promoting a trans-national economic, military and political union -- a union anchored on the Washington-based WTO and the New York-based UN, the Hague-based World Court, etc. You can be certain, also, that American voters, and British voters, and Japanese voters, etc., will have no say in the day-to-day running of this machine: it will be run by unelected bureaucrats and multi-billionaire capitalists, held together by the personal charisma of the de facto Emperor.

Believe the Bible, or don't believe it. Interpret it any way you want; but it's obvious that the above is the tack we are on. The Chinese may push, the Russians may shove and the Muslims may rage; but this is the direction mankind is headed. All the skeptics and scoffers will be here to see it happen; and then, even as they see these things unfolding, they will behold what comes next: the destruction of the global system with a nuclear exchange, and the issuing in of an age of an entirely different sort of government, a government ruled not by strong men, but by God.

Brexit is already unfolding. Next year, elections in the Netherlands and France may lead to refferenda in those places; and in France, at least, the polls say they will succeed even better than in the UK. Without the UK and France, the "EU" will become a rump, similar to the HRE after the death of Charlemagne. The only unifying force left in Europe will then be NATO, or some variant of it, led by the US.

Shalom shalom.
