Here's HowReader comment on item: Jihad Awakens Europe Submitted by Ron Thompson (United States), Jul 26, 2016 at 12:38 I'd just add to this excellent article that the way the United States could come to Europe's rescue for the 5th time (in WW I [though semi-aborted w/rejection of the League of Nations], in WW II, in the Marshall Plan, and in the 40 yr Cold War - 3 out of 4 decisive victories is pretty impressive ) would be to send in the INTELLECTUAL cavalry. In other words the United States could support and sponsor speakers whose goal is to definitively break the mental and verbal taboo against discussing, and then concluding, that Islam itself is the real enemy. Once this strange threshold hurdle is broken down, then I predict all sorts of ideas and initiatives will come forward which will make it clear to the anti-assimilationist Muslim communities (which are the sea in which the piranha terrorists live), that they should either recant those beliefs and actions of hatred and intolerance, or go to those Muslims countries where Islamic hatred and intolerance is embedded in the legal system and social customs. Encourage them to embrace what they want, only not in Europe (or the United States) The rapidly growing anti-assimilationist Muslim communities of Europe must be told that they cannot be 'asylum seekers' while at the same time bringing with them, in their hearts and minds, the belief system which caused them to become asylum seekers in the first place. . How strange it is that that spontaneous awareness hasn't long since been awakened in millions of hearts and minds. But I believe it's right there waiting to be tapped, and once wakened from a long torpor, will become a flood of rhetoric and feeling (or so I hope).
