Resistance to European Jihadism if we're lucky. Backlash against Muslims if we're not.Reader comment on item: Jihad Awakens Europe Submitted by Ilya Meyer (Sweden), Aug 1, 2016 at 08:43 I've written three books dealing with precisely these issues, in the form of thrillers to make the message more readable: "Bridges Going Nowhere" (2014), "The Threat Beneath" (2015) and "From The Shadows" (2016). They are about the increasing Islamisation of Sweden and the possible scenarios that may play out. When I started writing the first book back in 2010, they were just that – possible scenarios. Today they are already a reality in most parts of Sweden. When you have a situation where Swedish women say it is more acceptable to be raped by Muslim immigrants than by native Swedes "because after all the Muslim migrants have experienced traumas that obviously make this a necessity for them", then you know your society is probably already in free-fall. The right-wing Sweden Democrats are increasing in popularity by the day, without having to say or write a single word. Like many other such parties across Europe, they are, as Daniel Pipes so rightly states in his interview, already well into double figures. Some polls indicate they are possibly Sweden's single largest political party. Sweden's politicians handle this by ignoring them instead of dealing with the issues they raise - and the result is that they continue growing exponentially. The future is therefore definitely set to become really ugly. It has to get really ugly before it can get any better. The alternative is that there will be no resistance to the onslaught of Islamisation, in which case Europe is lost and Eurabia is a fact. This is probably less likely than a native-European backlash. We're getting to the point where simmering tensions are going to boil over – uncontrollably. The important thing is to resist European Jihadism while maintaining European democracy. If we can do that, we'll be lucky. If we're not so lucky, what we'll instead face is an uncontrollable backlash against all Muslims everywhere. And nobody is going to come out a winner if that apolcalyptic scenario becomes a fact. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. From a U.S. perspective, Pax Americana is coming to a close after a great 75-or-so-year run. Reader comments (20) on this item
