I urge you and the readers to read this review of Bail's book which no other than the other Islamophile John Esposito calls "methodologically sophisticated"

What is most amazing is Islam is a political system with a thin patina of religion and should be approached as such

And yes Mr Bail there is such thing as "Stealth Islam" and al-Taqiyya and yes al-Jihad means holy war and al-Jizya and ahl al-Dhimma are for real (just ask the Yazidis and Iraqi Christians) and the utter hate of Jews Christians Hindus Buddhists Jains atheists gays and women Yes there is slavery and rape of non Muslims in Islam

And to paraphrase Chris Hitchens no one should tolerate the intolerant

Islam's primary "religious" message is not advancing human understanding of Allah but polemics against non Muslims or the rest of humanity and if Bail does not believe me he can read John Wansbrough's "Sectarian Milieu" Oh may be in his universe Wansbrough was part of the "Islamophobic" cabal
