Ibn Kathir wrote that Jesus died for 3 days and was resurrected! No I'm not kiddingReader comment on item: The Case of Christopher Bail Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Sep 17, 2016 at 07:54 Agree However Muhammad was a poor theologian The Quran and al-Mufasereen tell us that Jesus did not die but they also tell us he died and was resurrected as you shall see They also tell us that Jesus created life and raised the dead The Quran makes it clear that only God does not die and he creates life and raises the dead This to me means that the Quran is saying Jesus is God I urge you to read Q3:55 where it says اذ قال الله ياعيسى اني متوفيك ورافعك الي ومطهرك Or Allah says O jesus I make you die and I raise you and i purify you Now here is the disaster if you read Ibn Kathir he wrote أَمَاتَهُ اللَّه ثَلَاثَة أَيَّام ثُمَّ بَعَثَهُ ثُمَّ رَفَعَهَ Or Allah made him die for three days and then He resurrected him then he raised him up (to heaven) This clearly means that the Quran says that Jesus died was resurrected and is in heaven now or the revered Ibn Kathir was a liar Muhammad was a poor theologian More? Read Q74:1-2 يايها المدثر قوم وانذر Or O you who is covered with (his) clock Rise (resurrect) and warn al-Mufasereen had no clue what this means but clearly the Quran is talking about Jesus BTW Allah cannot spell an Arabic word المدثر It is supposed to be المتدثر The Quran is a literary disaster
