The fall of Islamism, the Third Temple, and the offering and oblation: in 2024?Reader comment on item: Trump's Muslim Immigration Policy Is Evolving for the Better Submitted by Michael S (United States), Sep 20, 2016 at 03:49 Hi, Tovey First of all, let me say that it's fascinating reading your stuff. I'm not poking fun here, just trying to figure it all out. For instance, look at your sentence: "That being said, if there are lingering doubts about the Russian and Iranian intentions, please; I'll continue when the repressions to blurt out the ironies of the entire engagements process as the participants of the brokerage of the cease fire go crawling into their respective corners to regroup, if that is even possible." ...which contains some uncompleted fragments, such as: "That being said, if there are lingering doubts about the Russian and Iranian intentions, please _____" Please, __what?__. I am going on 69 years old. Is this a communication form of the younger generation? or is this your mind, racing faster than your fingers can type? In this age of "tweeting" and "texting" (neither of which I have ever done), it may be that I have simply not come up to speed enough to supply the "____". On the other hand, you may be somewhere on the autism spectrum, as is my son -- who happens to post messages in the same style as yours. I love my son, and wish I could understand him more. He's a brilliant man. That's enough on stylistic issues. I expect more than a "cross border conflagration into the Golan and Israel proper", in the not-too-distant future. I expect a full-scale attack on Israel by the confederate Turks, Iranians, Sudanese and Libyans, a la Ezekiel 38: [2] Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, You said, "American political prospects will not necessarily produce the 'little horn,' but circumstantially will help set the forum." I agree. The US is the world's foremost power, so it must be considered as somehow connected with the "little horn", mentioned in Daniel, that is to arise at the end this age. Some people expect drastic political changes in the next few years, such as martial law, subordination to the UN, etc. I personally doubt these; it is sufficient to think that we will elect Epiphanes (qv) Reincarnate in 2020; and that he will begin persecuting Christians and Jews in 2024. When you said, "2020 is way too far for this series of expectations from this observer", I agree with you, if you are talking about the Turkish (possibly Russian, but I don't think so)-led attack on Israel. That attack, if it comes then and in that manner, will be the "last hurrah" of the Islamist movement that Daniel Pipes speaks so much about. Dr. Pipes and his readers have speculated much about how and when this movement will meet its demise. I see it culminating in Ezekiel 38-39, since all the countries involved (save Russia, which some believe is significant) are Islamist terror-sponsoring states. That attack could come as early as 2017, though I would not bet my reputation on it. I don't see the Wakf as having anything significant to do with the above attack, seeing that its Guardian, King Abdullah of Jordan, has very limited authority there. If my timetable is correct, though, I would expect the Temple to be reconstructed during the term in office of "Epiphanes"; because the offering and oblation would have to cease in 2024. That all sounds so incredibly close at hand; but it is plausible. If a full-scale "Ezekiel" attack is mounted and soundly crushed by Israel, that MAY be a major boon to the Temple Mount Faithful and kindred groups; and it is plausible that the Temple construction would be well enough underway by 2024 for there to be a functioning altar on it. Epiphanes could very well then demand that offerings on it cease, in the name of "world peace". Yes, that is a very plausible scenario... but awful! My grandchildren! The oldest will be 17 in 2024, and the youngest 11! Actually, those are probably ideal ages, for surviving the next Holocaust. My wife and I will be in our 70s; with long and happy lives behind us; and we will be ready to meet our maker. I pray for the rest of the church, especially those who think they will somehow be excluded from these troubles, and for Israel. In those days, it will be better for Jews in Israel, than in America; because I believe this will be the "Seat of the Beast". Interesting times. Keep me posted. God bless and keep you and yours.
