I hadn't noticed that media drive, but it seems to be the gist of the following: support by the media in general, along with the elite establishment, of a "Remain" vote in Britain, and of worldwide trade entanglements in general. There might be some dreamers who see Jean Claude Juncker and his EU set as "leaders" of the free world; but as I say, they're dreamers. If the US ever gets a true leader, on the other hand, we will definitely find the EU (or whatever becomes of it) following our lead -- straight into destruction, along with the rest of the world.

I don't think it's the media that's promoting the notion that "all is not well in the world". In fact, I don't think I know anyone who thinks otherwise. The difference among opinions, is what to do about it. In my own opinion, which I think is correct, these are times to encourage one another in their faith in God and in the good news of Jesus the Messiah.

Right you are, and mine was especially bad -- completely undetected, but ready to rupture. I didn't dismiss the situation: I went into surgery, and let them cut me open and fix it. Whether I died or not was not a problem, though: either way, I end up in God's loving arms. As it stands, it seems I'll be here a while before that happens: His choice, entirely. Yes, it is a miracle that the ultrasound tech accidentally discovered it when she did. To many, it was just coincidence; but with me being so intimately involved in the process, I don't think that way.

It seems like, "These people must want to BE stars". In a godless world, everyone is his own little god, trying to change the rules as they seem to fit him/her at the moment. Of course, this always leads to trouble; and it will during our lifetimes too. I don't foresee a change for the better in this world, until God gives us all open-heart surgery and grafts us into Messiah through faith. That will be a shocking event, and I think it will happen soon: for the good, for those who hope in God and Jesus; and for bad, for those who think they can stop them.

I mentioned them in an earlier post. They have been beefing up anti-nuclear defences around Moscow, and have unveiled their newest multiple-warhead ICBMS that can destroy the US, China, or anyone they please. Whatever Americans might believe, the Russkies are preparing for the worst. In my opinion, that "worst" is Zechariah 14. I hope and trust that Israel is likewise preparing for that day.
