Israel keeps losing the Public Relations war in AmericaReader comment on item: Is There a Palestinian People? Can It be Defeated? Submitted by Concerned from USA (United States), Jan 30, 2017 at 08:25 Wandered in out of the blue and wanted to share a comment. For years now under Obama, if I were to wear an Israeli flag T-shirt, I would be publically threatened, ridiculed, even spat upon at many US universities. I've seen people wear ISIS flags and not even have an eye raised. Since 2005 the Muslims have been winning the Public Relations war in the USA, while Israel seems to keep using the same tired old propaganda which literally creates knee jerk rejection in the minds of especially the young. (I do not say this meaning offense) The arguments have been absolutely unchanged since the 1990's. The attitude of Israel seems to have been "if it's not broke don't fix it" yet clearly it's broken because I cannot even show Israeli-solidarity and feel physically safe anymore. There is no defeat of "Palestine" possible while they are winning the PR war and have been completely wedded to the psychotic left, in a bizarre marriage where feminists and LGBT activists find themself supposedly unified with a people that honestly would either see them dead or at least shut up forever if they had their way. What can be done to turn the tide in the hearts and minds of people??
