Hadith supports that one of the wings of housefly has healing power

Book #54, hadith #537, Sahih Bukhar, "Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said "If a house fly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink), for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease."

The past and recent scientific research does not come to the conclusion a side of the wings of a housefly could cause disease and another side could heal the disease.
