The Most Embarrassingly Wrong Book Ever on the Middle EastReader comment on item: The Most Embarrassingly Wrong Book Ever on the Middle East? Submitted by Judith Davies (United States), Aug 9, 2017 at 15:46 Thank you for speaking out on this subject! Academia is sadly very embarrassingly ignorant and has become more so in the past few decades; and Yasser Arafat bounces his baby on his knee, and Osama bin Laden feeds his children, and Jimmy Carter laughs in amusement. Rattlesnakes have babies too, but they are not pets. If only these left-wing snow flake professors and writers would pick up a real history book and read for a change, and bother to read the Middle East Forum they might begin to understand Islamic mentality. It was obvious long before the 21st century that some Middle Eastern Dictator would try to revive the old empire, with the Shah of Iran deposed, and Turkey becoming more Islamic and less secular, it was going to happen in time. What planet have these guys been living on? I have learned to keep a close watch on college-age children so they don't become too damaged! Our home is now a library of real information and in no small part because of the MEF.
