Here is another example why many Muslims are now Qur'an only Muslims: The "Seek Knowledge Even in China" Hadith!

There is a "Hadith" which we hear about it by Muslim apologists ad nauseum (it was even quoted by Obama ) and that is اطلبوا العلم ولو بالصين Or seek knowledge even in China! Why China? Because to Muhammad and the Arabs it was "the end of the world" or as far as one can travel from Arabia!

The problem is this Hadith is not accepted The reasons given by Muslim scholars?

1. أسانيده ضعيفه or the Isnads (or the names of those that transmitted the Hadith) are weak

2. باطل لا أصل or the (Hadith) is wrong and has no (reliable) source

3. منكر الحديث or this Hadith is denied (not true)

4. ضعفه Or (it is rejected because of) its weakness

This hadith is bogus. However, Muslims apologists, that tell us that the Qur'an is a science book, in their desperate attempts to prove their point they have to resort to using a bogus Hadith!

Most damaging to Muslim apologists is that the word 'Elm or علم (knowledge) and عالم or 'Alm and plural 'Ulama "those that master the knowledge": The knowledge here is the knowledge of the book of Allah and the Muslim literary tradition and that is it

No wonder many Muslims are becoming "Qur'an only" Muslims.
