A victory-based escapist party?Reader comment on item: Ariel Sharon, Escapist Submitted by Camelinspace (Israel), Dec 31, 2018 at 12:24 Ironically the only party that clearly promotes a victory agenda regarding the Palestinian century-long war on Israel is Feiglin's Zehut ("Identity") party, a Libertarian party that stresses it's separation from right/left politics.. While to my knowledge he has never mentioned your Israel Victory program, there is no mistaking this party's agenda for something other than a clear cut victory regarding the Palestinians. Minute 2:00-2:30 of their YouTube peace plan commercial shows my point: I'm not saying that Zehut's platform has merit, only arguing that this party is in the mindset for an end to the conflict in their way. It will also be interesting to see if they make it into the Knesset. Arguably comparable to the European civilizationist parties, this unusual Israeli party might prompt the conflict management-minded center-right and center-left to take a look at your comparatively tame Israel Victory paradigm, since yours doesn't require full annexation of the territories. Daniel Pipes replies: I would not call Feiglin's party escapist; it does not fit any of the criteria, especially trying to combine left and right. Reader comments (34) on this item
