Future of KadimaReader comment on item: Ariel Sharon, Escapist Submitted by steven l (United States), Nov 28, 2005 at 16:43 Past performance is not guarantee of future results! One major factor is what is at stake now and that probably a large majority of Israelis are willing to support Sharon as long as they realize that until today it is not possible to trust the other side (The Palestinians). Those willing to support Sharon will be ready to fight anyone willing to sell Israel out, including the USA if need be. There is and there must be a limit to what Israel will give. The problem is that nothing appears to be enough for the other side. They need a reality check (the Palestinians). Promises based on lies are as good as a lie but a harbinger of dark future. This seems to be a the h/o the Middle East. The more promises made, the less is given sl Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
