Civilizationist PartiesReader comment on item: Europe's Jews vs. Israel Submitted by Larry, Jan 27, 2019 at 13:23 Dr. Pipes has argued persuasively that the anti semitic racist stream of these parties are becoming less prominent as these parties enter the main stream political process. It provides a useful weapon for their political opponents to attack them. It's clear that at the very least this faction is becoming less important. Contrast this with the Labour Party under Corbyn. My ongoing concern with these parties is their ongoing affinity with Putin and all he stands for. He was guest of honour at Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl's wedding. Mr Putin has every interest in disrupting the free market, rule of law, and free speech ideals that are the crown jewels of Western Civilization. I would appreciate Dr Pipes's opinion on this issue. I hope as they grow in strength, they can slough off his support. Reader comments (23) on this item |
