Thanks for the term civilizationist

I hadn't encountered you comments section before and want to thank you for the term civilizationist - I think it best expresses the new parties core motivation. It occupies the blind spot that caught most of the educated elites - of which both you and I are members - completely off guard. So I adopted it some months ago instead of populist, neo-fascist etc. It matters much less right now that there are unsavoury elements within this movement that have a real connection to the fascism of the 30s, than the blindness of the ruling class to, to paraphrase Douglas Murray, the strange death of the West.
