Very true, but I beg to differ. Yes, this will fail as we can always "thank" Arab consistency and obtuse character. But Trump knows that and actually counts on it. He wants to be seen as the ultimate "macher" and still give israel what is needed for its survival, the whole of judea/shomron (save for a few arab towns). The arabs will refuse the deal, eventually abbas will die or will be incapacited, the PA will collapse due to internecine fights (see above arab consistency). Israel will have to declare sovereignty over area C to start and then over the rest of the region. Gaza will be handed over to Egypt forced to clean up the enclave from jihadi/ hamas remnants thanks to combination of US and israeli threats and financial incentive. In a parallel timeline, Jordan will be told to take in west bank arabs willing to migrate to their true "Palestine". Eventually cities like Ramallah, Shhem (nablus) and maybe Bethlehem and Hebron will be upgraded to independent cities within the state of israel boundaries.
