The New World OrderReader comment on item: [Bureaucratic Leftism and] Globalthink's Perils Submitted by Ken Besig (Israel), Sep 24, 2002 at 13:19 Even Americans, native born and raised, seem to have embraced the ideas espoused in this article, that is, that the West in general, and of course, white heterosexual men in particular, are the source of ALL the evil in the world.Even native born and raised Americans, who see their vibrant democracy in action directly by their participation in open and free democratic elections every two to four years, who know that while American justice is flawed, they also know that every effort is made to see that impartial justice is the norm in America, and who have on the whole benefitted massively from American capitalism, parrot the neo-Bolshevik syllogisms of one world government based on the failed Socialism of Russia, China, and Eastern Europe. Even international leaders who should and do know better apparently find it expedient to bitterly criticize the only nations in the world, that is America and the European nations, where freedom and human rights are a reality, and not just cynical slogans. Nelson Mandela, who owes his life to Western human rights values, still spouts anti-Americanism like Fidlel Castro, Kofi Annan who has lived in the West and knows full well how decisions are taken there still uses the rhetoric of the revolutionaries of the Third World and even characterizes America as wanting to impose itself by military force on other nations in the world. Given this sorry state of affairs, and the gloomy future they portend, perhaps the time has come to begin to actively and even aggressively defend democracy and Western values, and demand real fairness in all debates.
