Recriminations of Corrupting Influences - When America Lost its Religion to Politics

When this was first posted, this observer missed it and is now sorry for that. As was inferred elsewhere in tis forum, our educational experiences cold have been written consecutively, yours first and this former non-collegiate's closely following by about three years. Non-collegiate by virtue of the leftist leanings of the Cal State system of the time, this college career prospective was introduced to the impending 'new world order' of higher learning by the newly installed academics of the time and was now allowed to pursue the originally intended pursuits without indoctrination. Declining that course, experience became the new teacher and professor of life while watching the world work its way through the devolution of humanities process your academics taught you and your following experiences that provided a better course curriculum of how the decline of Western civilization is best exemplified in the lost cause that is America. The current American Administrative Chief Executive's history and contemporary example of how that is intended to 'erase' all of the history of this observer's antecedent's contributions to a rational social order are being contravened for the lack of searching out truth. They now follow the mantra as shown on the banners they display-they are 'ungovernable.'
The downfall implied in those words is now upon the American scene, at one time being imported to America by Marxist communist secularists; now it is being exported to the world, just as the first Bush administration presidency attempted to proclaim by announcing a 'one world order' in the early 90's. Now as Dr. Pipes has intimated and out right inferred, it has come of age in our later common experiences and now the question: will there be a recovery?
That depends on what has been learned collegiately from then until now; to the circumstances now seen, not likely.
