Using Ramadan to Leverage Temple Mount Authority

Apparently, Hamas is not going to wait any longer to invade Israel and attempt to overrun the capitol of the Jewish Nation, Jerusalem. It actually appears they are not even attempting to observe the Quran in doing so; so what's their excuse? Does the Tanach have any observation of how this may turn out?
In Isaiah, we read (for the sake of this discussion, in al-Arabi):
يَكُونُ مَلجَأً لَكَ. أمَّا لِبَيتِ إسْرَائِيلَ وَبَيتِ يَهُوذَا، فَيَكُونُ حَجَرًا يُعثِرُهُمْ وَصَخرَةً تُسْقِطُهُمْ. وَيَكُونُ فَخًّا وَشَرَكًا لِسَاكِنِي القُدْسَ
In view of the issues facing Israel and as it has been indicated elsewhere, there have been many challenges to Israeli sovereignty; and apparently, the hudna is over. Guess what's next? Anyone?
