Projection of Islamic Dominion on Temple MountReader comment on item: Israel and the Temple Mount's Five Muslim Rivals Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Jun 3, 2021 at 10:36 Change of government notwithstanding, the evolving perception of who makes the rules to rule on the Temple Mount is still in flux as there is a promised day of rage pending (unless there was a pause proposed for reasons unknown; but really, is that likely?) Whomever is thought in Arabic circles to be the 'protector' of al-Aqsa [ per Dr. Pipes comments, 'To reflect the importance of the Hashemite connection to Al-Aqsa and its day-to-day management, the visit of the Crown Prince to the Temple Mount was scheduled for an Islamic holy day']; this is countermanded by the non-Arabic contention of the Iranian Islamic Regime's desire to gain dominion over Jerusalem in order to impose their own form of Islamic control on the Temple Mount and potentially perfect their projection of power over a defeated Israeli government, even if it is now infused with Arabic participation and further potentially representing 'Palestinian' interests. Truly, does the Iranian Islamic Regime care about the 'Palestinians'?
