Jesus on the Steps of the Temple & and the Money Changers

Dear M Tovey,

1) My arguments are Secular, never Religious.

2) Nevertheless Religious Narratives I recognize as significant movers of masses of believers. That the Temple was and continues to be relevant to Christianity through the Jewish claim for it in Israel is recognized by Christian Fundamentalists in the USA - who far outnumber its Jewish citizens.

By coincidence I happen to be reading a relatively rare imprint of "HIBBATH ZION (Love of Zion) by Nahum Sokolow (1934, 1935, 1941). I own the 1941 imprint. The relevant part here is the Addenda, which begins on page 361, which apparently claims that Christian claim Israel for the Jews. And as you know Jerusalem is in Israel.

In other words, Christians claim Jerusalem ... FOR THE JEWS!
