Futilities of a Religious Sort.Reader comment on item: The Need for a Focus on Western Islamism Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Feb 3, 2022 at 12:02 Bottom line from Ludvikus' observation required several passes before its subliminal message sank in: [How much outsiders (non-Muslims) can contribute to this World War (against ISIS), other than military defeat, seems quite limited to me.] Actually, this evenutally began to fill this reader with a different sense of it all than what nearly 60 years of 'western' indoctrination of a globalistic world view that appears, even now after centuries of struggle, incapable of achieving peace, even at any cost. It's a rather sad commentary, now isn't it? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
