All 'humanitarian' aid to Palestine must be stoppedReader comment on item: "Almost All Western Governments Finance Lawful Islamism" Submitted by Prashant (United States), May 3, 2022 at 11:16 Dear Dr Pipes, The total population of (the so called) Palestine is 5 million. That is about one fourth as many people as live in New Delhi metropolitan area. These 5 million Palestinians have taken the entire planet as hostage and they, of course, have captured the agenda and majority of the bandwidth. Let me put it in perspective. India is now considered to be an upcoming powerful economy. India's per capita income is just $2000 per year. So, to be considered upcoming and powerful, all the money that the Palestinians need per year is 10 Billion dollars. It is a small amount of money. For example, Google, Apple, Amazon, Tesla etc can make the Palestinians as rich as powerful as Indians in India with their pocket change. Even poor countries of the world can make the Palestinians as rich with their change money. All the big media companies who talk about justice for Palestinians are big liars. They can make all Palestinians rich and powerful with only a small part of their profits (the readers are invited to check the numbers; I will skip the math). But they prefer to shed tears. Aid of any kind to Palestine is not the solution. Encouraging peaceful tendencies is the solution. Tough love is the solution. Israel should encourage the industrialists of the world to build manufacturing facilities in Palestine with a guarantee that all employment will be given to Palestinian Muslims and no taxes will be collected. Let there be two jobs per Muslim in Palestine. But just establishing factories is not enough. Our dear stone pelters will bomb the factories to dust within days. The message should be darn clear. All humanitarian aid must be stopped except canned food, basic medicine, and basic clothing. That is it. I dare say that is the solution.
