in response to reader comment: Myth of the West - Why Defense of the West Will Never Live Past the Old Legacy

Unfounded speculations aside, when does anyone who has any investment in the outcome of the Russian incursion in the Ukraine see this even approaching any form of equitable resolution in which the goals, whatever they may end up being from the Russian perspective, how long will the west take to recover all that was lost in any sense of stability and does anyone believe this will satiate the Russian from ever trying this again? More importantly, who will ever trust the Russian (or successors) from not doing this again; anxieties abounding here, how does this end without worse consequences being left behind for the next time?
Then, not to be left out in any perceptions of success, do the Chinese or the Iranian Islamic Regime's desires get any encouragment to try their own flexing of ambitions; and how does the west get any relief that these issues are ever going to go away?
All of this speculation occurs while teh Russian is still out there looking for his next options to retrieve the original goals of dominating all that can be achieved in a world that has not a clue on how to deal with the current crisis, let alone any future potential that cannot be solved by pondering about global warming. Seriously......
