Remembering Turkiye Today is NOT Attaturk's Turkey of YesterdayReader comment on item: Turkey's Stance on NATO Expansion Is "Blackmail" Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Jun 1, 2022 at 10:02 One really does need to review the more broad investigation that Dr. Pipes has been conducting regarding Turkiye as it has been morphed from the more secular governmental model of the years after Attaturk brought results of a western style of governance, all but now gone since Islamist Erdoğan's takeover and progressive Islamization in order to return Turkiye to its former glory as the Ottoman empire he seeks to revive.
