League of Arab States (LAS) - 22 Arab States (members, inbluding the Palestinian Territories)Reader comment on item: About Those Billboards in Israel ... Submitted by Robert (United States), Nov 5, 2022 at 23:30 Palestinians are Arabs, and there are already 21 Sovereign member states in this international (Arab) organization, while the "Palestinian Territories" are also members (I don't know if Hamas has a voice). So, here's my plan for Victory (at the bottom are all the states named). (1) Demand that Israel at least join as an observer. (2) Demand that Palestinians have the right to immigrate to any of the 21, maybe even Israelis and Jews), with the aim of ultimately contributing to the solution of the Arab refugee problem by granting a path to Citizenship of Palestinian Refugees. (3) Demand that Israel be recognized as a Jewish state. (4) Demand that the Palestinian Authority resolve its dispute with Hamas. (5) Demand that the League terminate its Apartheid policy against the Jews in historic Mandatory Palestine, including Jordan; recognize the right (under the Palestine Mandate) of Jewish Close Settlement with all of historic Mandatory Palestine, including Jordan. (6) Demand that all Violence, Resistance, and War against Israel cease and desist. This is of course a maximalist position. Nevertheless it is up to the 21 Arab country to solve the plight of their displaced Arab cohorts. Fortunately, for Israel, with Iraqi, Syrian, Lebanese, Libyan, Yemeni, etc., displaced Arabs, the Palestinian (5th generation?) are a minority now.
