Itamar Ben Gvir was booed at the memorial for Meir Kahana - as he said he "disagrees with all his opinions regarding the expulsion of Arabs and separate sea shores"Reader comment on item: About Those Billboards in Israel ... Submitted by Sally (United States), Nov 10, 2022 at 16:17 Itamar Ben Gvir was booed at the memorial for (Meir) Kahana, Hezki Baruch, INN, Nov 10, 2022 [...] He was booed when he said that he did not agree with parts of R' Kahana's teachings. "It is no secret that today I am not R' Kahane and I do not support the deportation of all Arabs, and I will not enact laws for separate seashores, although it is certain that we will act and do to expel terrorists from the country for the sake of the Jewish image of Israel, for the settlement and the Jewish identity." According to him, "I was a teenager and I also grew up (invoking the Hebrew text from Psalms 37:25) and since I was 16 years old, every year I came to the memorial here to honor and recognize those who were murdered for the sanctification of God, those who worked for the Jews of the Soviet Union and made sure to work to open the Iron Curtain, those who fought anti-Semitism against Jews in the United States and worked to enact a law Death penalty for terrorists".
