Armenia is at risk from Islam and must be Israel's natural ally

Dear Dr Pipes,

In one of his messages reader Robert said that Israel has Azerbaijan as a new Muslim ally. In this message of his, Robert quoted Alan Dershowitz and said that Israel will need a doomsday strategy if it loses the support of USA. I agree completely that Israel would really be in danger of Islam if it loses the friendship of the USA. And, with multi-trillion dollars of US national debt, the USA may not be of much help to any country even if it had the will to help that country. So, no nation should stake her future on the US support.

Israel's existential risk comes from Islam. Azerbaijan is a 90% Islamic nation. It cannot be a reliable friend of Israel.

I think Armenia, although small, can be a natural ally of Israel in the region. Armenia is a Christian country in the Middle East. Unfortunately, it borders a lot of Islamic countries. Armenia will also face an existential risk from Islam. I have to check it but I can be sure that Muslims must be immigrating into Armenia in hoards. Azerbaijan already fought a bloody war with Armenia last year over Nagorno-Karabakh. And we all know about teh Armenian genocide by Islamic Turkey. It is just a matter of time before Armenia gets Islam's attention again and gets swallowed.

I think Israel should make friends in the region. Even small, poor, and weak friends will be useful if the doomsday comes. As an aside, India faces a similar existential threat from Islam and and is not too far from Israel. India is another natural ally of Israel.
