"Israel's Election: What to Think About Religious Zionists, Netanyahu, and Tales of Doomsday" - Elliott AbramsReader comment on item: About Those Billboards in Israel ... Submitted by Robert (United States), Nov 6, 2022 at 23:47 Dear Dr. Daniel Pipes, I don't know what you think of your fellow American conservative, Elliott Abrams. who is also an authority on the Middle East (perhaps you readers do not know that). At any rate he just punished his views on the upcoming government of Israel, and his views agree with mine. One view is that it is good that (extremely) experienced and crafty politician, Bibi, will become PM. My hope is that his observation will change your mind about Bibi's re-election under the current curcumstances in Israel, the USA, and the rest of the world. Once again. even though you do not like Bibi personally, he and his projected government I believe are the best could have happened for an Israeli Victory. I give 2 reasons only: (1) Bibi is on good terms with Putin; (2) Biden has been pushing Israel to do its bidding regarding the gas field claimed by Lebanon, and (2) Biden has been pushing Israel to alienate China, which obviously is too dangerous for (small) Israel to do, and Biden "loves" Bibi (if anyone can handle Biden, Bibi can).
