Ali Shihabi's article makes me smile.

Dear Dr. Pipes, I read Ali Shihabi's article cited by reader Robert. Muslims' incorrect thinking, inability to introspect, and their supreme ability toward self-deception makes me smile. In fact, the entire world has been so deluded by the Islamic propaganda that even non-Muslims have learned to believe the Islamic lies without ever questioning them. I should not give this free advice to Muslims but I cannot resist. Let me mention a few things.

Ali Shihab starts his article by admitting that Muslims are weaker compared to Israel. Excuse me please. Israel is just 10,000 sq miles and consists of just a few million people. Muslims control millions and millions of sq miles on planet Earth and there are two billions of them. Muslims are one of the most violent people that the world has seen. If Muslims are weeker than Israel, boy, what else do they need to be powerful!

Then, Ali Shihabi believes that Israel is sustained by the US and British imperialism. Oh boy. What else you want me to believe, Mr Shihabi? Have you heard about a country called India? India defeated the British imperialism. And, what were you doing, Sir, when Vietnam defeated the USA? I will not teach the Muslims how to fight and win a war but they should try to figure it out by themselves.

If you give Ali Shihabi the most powerful binocular and the most powerful reading glasses and send him on a world tour, he will still not see any truth. When he wants to build a new country for the (so called) Palestinians, he wants to build a Hashemite *kingdom*. Wow! Ever heard the word democracy, Mr Shihab? Whatever systems of governance are preached in the Qur'an are unfit for human consumption. Sorry to say that. Kingdoms and Shikhdoms and Caliphates do not do that well. They kill people. If you want to make a new country for your people, try democracy. No path to joy and happiness goes through a Sharialand, sir. When will you learn that?
