Because the Palestinians have nowhere else to go.Reader comment on item: Further on Israel's Winning Its War Submitted by anonymous (United States), Apr 7, 2006 at 16:55 "If the North Vietnamese and their allies could defeat the United States, why not Israel the Palestinians? "Because the Palestinians have nowhere else to go and their culture is self-sustaining and has indoctrinated them into believing that murder is holy and suicide is martyrdom. Living in a hopless thug-ocracy does not exactly lead to a rosy outlook on life. The Americans had the alternative of going home and never did like killing or dying very much at all. Most Americans believed killing was a sin. Most American soldiers had a good life to look forward to if they could survive the war.
