Israel has accepted being in eternal war since Entebbe 1976Reader comment on item: Further on Israel's Winning Its War Submitted by Nabil Shwarma (Canada), Apr 8, 2006 at 11:27 Dr Pipes:By not destroying the airport in Entebbe, Uganda to dust, nor killing every Ugandan soldier, the Israel Government made a statement: We will protect our people, but for the hopes of peace we will NOT utterly destroy the allies of terrorism. Maybe they can change. Where there is will, there is ...... In other words, there may not be such a heavy price to pay to you if you lend your facilities to terrorists. In addition to never clearly explaining to the world, who the real enemy is, the Israeli Government has contented itself to James Bond games with laser strikes to selected individuals. Again, being very selective on who is killed, and who is not killed. Allowing those who are not killed to plan and murder anyone - not being selective themselves. In my opinion, this was not a winning strategy. People only respect bullies. It is time that the Israeli Military act like bullies.
