Reply to the Jerusalem Post's 4/18/2006 article "Peace is better than the West Bank"Reader comment on item: Further on Israel's Winning Its War Submitted by Tzvi Ben-david (United States), Apr 18, 2006 at 15:59 To the Jerusalem Post:Dear Editor, In MJ Rosenberg's article titled "Peace is better than the West Bank", he states that "Living 6,000 miles away, it is one thing to promote policies that will help Israel achieve peace and security. It is quite another to promote war." Please inform Mr. Rosenberg that one way to promote peace and security is, at times, through war. Daniel Pipe's normally gives well thought out arguments for his positions, wheather or not one agrees with him. In the article written by Mr. Rosenberg, he makes no arguments that show, or even suggest, how Israel will bring itself peace by any position, let alone by war. His main complaint appears to be that Pipes lives 6,000 miles away thus is not entitled to a position. Respectfully, Tzvi Ben-david
