Recommended Reading Re: Zionist Evangelicals

"Standing With Israel: Why Christians Support the Jewish State" is a book by David Brog. Mr. Brog is a Jew who embraces his religious Jewish heritage. He is not a Messianic Jew or Jews for Jesus Jew; he, nevertheless, believes that Christian Zionists are the theological heirs to the righteous Gentiles who saved Jews during the Holocaust. This is the thesis of his book. The book is endorsed by a brace of authorities readily recognizable, including Daniel Ayalon, the Israeli Ambassador to the United States. I would hazard a guess that Mr. Daniel Pipes would include himself among that august company.

This book is highly readable. Mr. Brog's thesis is well researched and supported with historical facts that reach back to the genesis of the Primitive Christian Church and bring the captivated reader to the very present. I have acquired invaluable historical insight and enjoyed the journey.
